We fly over Long Beach Airport, (LGB), a small slot-restricted airport
south of LAX. As you look at the top photo, you can see how the airport
is surrounded by the density of the City of Long Beach. Therefore, it is
severely slot restricted in that it is limited to 41 flights per day total. For
more information on Long Beach Airport, go to: http://www.longbeach.gov/airport/

The second and third photos have a good view of the whole "Southland"
area of Los Angeles on a beautiful, relatively "smog free" morning.

The bottom photo shows, Huntington Beach, the first town in Orange County as
you follow the coast-line south from Los Angeles. Huntington Beach is credited
with foundation of the California "Surf Culture". http://www.surfcityusa.com/.
